"Pump It Up."

two monkeys called Sid and Elvis in Jungle Run

The first children’s television programme Unclassified was involved with was called "Pump It Up", a frantic, energetic game-show where two groups of young people compete against each other in tasks and races on a variety of inflatables and loads of gung. Unclassified Arts was co-presenters, with the role of referee and agitators (to both contestants and presenters) and was safety consultants on the physical use of the equipment. The series was aired summer of 1999 to great acclaim, so Childrens’ ITV commissioned a second series that was transmitted January 2000.

After "Pump It Up" during the summer of 2001, Unclassified had signed up with Granada/Yorkshire TV to work on another game-show for children called "Jungle Run" where a team of young people have to complete a series of tasks in the jungle while being harassed by two monkeys called Sid and Elvis. Guess who played the monkeys! At the time of writing, Jungle Run is transmitting on Tuesdays at 4pm on Children's ITV.
