Camden & Islington SRB projects

The first project Unclassified Arts was involved with was the video project titled Young People Drugs and Crime "Breaking the Links" Video Project. Unclassified Arts not only helped to run facilitation workshops (alongside a professional video director) but also liaised with the young peoples’ youth workers, administered the project and networked with a variety of young peoples’ and drug counselling agencies working closely with the Director of Drug Prevention. The video was a collection of comedy sketches, poetry and docu-drama introspections. The video was showcased in May 2000 at Highbury Stadium.

Following the success of that project, the Director of Drug Prevention asked us to produce an event celebrating young peoples’ creativity in the London boroughs of Camden and Islington. Titled "Platforms 01", it was held at the Bloomsbury Theatre November 4th 2001. Unclassified Mime worked alongside Rainey Kelly Campbell Roalfe (an International advertising and Media Agency), recruiting young people to design and implement the advertising campaign, and the whole day event consisted of performances, workshops, displays, video and art-work from schools, colleges, youth clubs and other young peoples’ agencies from the two boroughs.

Bass Breweries Events/ Make It Up

Bass Breweries approached Unclassified Arts to coordinate interactive entertainment for the opening of one of their bar/clubs. Unclassified organised to have moving statues representing each of the new drinks that were being launched. For this they employed the skills of Maria Sanchez, internationally renowned body make-up artist. After this, Unclassified helped to produce Maria’s own show, showcasing her talents at her catwalk make-up show at the Groucho Club, London.

Indiana Jones and the Lost Kingdom

Working in conjunction with Physicality and events management company Elegant Days, Unclassified scripted a Christmas show in the greatest tradition of the Indiana Jones trilogy, whilst also directing the stunts and performing the roles of the baddies.

Other special events

Other special events that Unclassified Arts has been involved on a performance/consultation/pitch basis include parties for Kiss FM, IBM, MAP productions and Microsoft. They worked on awards ceremonies and conferences for Hyundai, Pedigree Pet Foods, Peugeot, Mars, EES, Pharmaceutical Awards and IVCA. They have also worked for Nike Park at Wembley Stadium, scripting and performing Sky Sports interviews.
